which sudafed is safe during pregnancy?

I'm 28 weeks and I called my dr this weekend bc I have an awful head cold. He told me sudafed and robitussin are safe. My husband came home with sudafed pe...so I've been taking that the past 24 hours. Now I'm worried I've been taking the wrong sudafed. Help!?:( which sudafed is safe? Regular or pe? Or both?

If it's the Sudafed on the shelf you are fine. If it's the one from behind the counter then no. Just make sure there is no aspirin.

My husband came home with the same stuff for me. I took half the dose for a day and stopped taking it. I will be speaking with my dr tomorrow.

I have a paper that my doctor gave me on safe medicines to take during pregnancy and it just says sudafed. So I'm gonna go with regular. Maybe see what the differences are?
