Late period Update

Hello ladies. I am 3 days late on my period and I am never late. I was wondering how soon after my late period should I take a test. I don't want to test too early and get a false negative.

UPDATE!!: After being 7 days late I found out my husband and I were expecting but shortly after we experienced a miscarriage. We are deeply sadden by this and we are currently going to take a little break from TTC until we both heal from this loss. Keep us in your prayers . THANK YOU😔
