Cat poop?

So we got a kitten a few weeks ago and were letterbox training it, I myself haven't touched it but my husband has, we the cat pooped in my daughter's room and my husband is at work, I was told not to clean cat pooped! What or how can I get it up without harming me or the baby?

Put gloves on, and make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after. Also, if you've had cats before, it's very likely you are already immune. My doc did an antibody test at my first appointment and it showed I had already been infected years before. So I could clean up cat poop without worry.

Only if the poop is more than 24 hours old!!! Put some gloves on and clean it! I clean my litter box occasionally when my SO isNT at home
