To c/s or normal? Need desperate advice.
As I am sitting in the waiting room....Baby is due December 3rd. My last appt. We discussed if I would go normal or c/s because my first born he was 8 lbs 14 oz he had shoulder distocia and we had some complications. He is almost 3 now and has no defects. This baby is 8 lbs 11 oz and midwife said he may have shoulder distocia or may not. She also said the u/s may be wrong in weight or be correct. She also wasn't saying c/s is better than normal or vice versa. My hubby wants me to do c/s for the health of the baby cause he saw how my first son was born and was blue in the face and he didn't cry when he came out and also it would be convenient for him cause c/s would be scheduled and normal he wouldn't know if he'd be in state or not... I don't want to do it for his convenience I want to make my own decision. I truly believe I want to do it normal. My family has given me their opinions but I think the more the better and especially if anyone has a child born with shoulder distocia should definitely comment. My first son I don't think I wanted to push and I wasn't prepared also it was my first pregnancy and my birth canal was a first timer I guess I wanna call it that. But after my first maybe my birth canal is "better" idk the exact word for it. Please don't be mean and comment anything rude. I just want some opinions for what's best for me and my baby boy.
