Would you or have you given baby food before 6 months?

Now before anyone goes wild I know babies arent supposed to have baby food before 6 months. BUT under certain circumstances some pediatricians suggest baby food before 6 months depending on childs weight, eating habbits, sleeping habbits and general health.
