Sticking to your word?

Question

Upon reading a different post, I'm wondering how many new mums (moms that have already delivered their babies) that declared that they would not let their unvaccinated (immediate) family members see their newborn, actually stuck to their word and didn't let those family members see or touch the new addition?

Not a debate for pro or anti vaxers, just interested in the actual follow through that comes with all the 'my mom refused to get herself vaccinated so I won't be allowing her see her grandchild when he/she is born' posts.

We stick to our guns. Friends of ours got vaccinated just so they could see the baby and they didn't question it.

Thankfully my family knows how important it is to get vaccinated..And if sick they dont want to get baby sick so wait til they are better.I wouldnt let a child or adult over to see my newborn if wasnt vaccinated..Why??Because i would never take that risk.Ive tried WAY to hard to have my family...

It has never come up. Everyone in my immediate family is smart enough to understand the need for vaccinations fortunately.

I haven't given birth yet, but I have stuck to my word of not visiting those who are not vaccinated, and making those who smoke take a shower and change clothing before we meet. As soon as they need to smoke, we leave.
