high lipase..

Okay ladies I have a decent size freezer stash (150isho oz) and I noticed my older milk like from 10/22 I was freezing standing up in the door and then i read to put them away from doors and walls and started freezing then flat for move space. My older milk smells horrible like metal! Yuck! And my milk for 11/25 I tested has no smell at all. Could it be my lipase level evened out or do you think my freezing method changed it? Baby takes it but it's so gross I can't give it to him!
