What to do before being induced

My lil guy will be served an eviction notice sometime next week if he does not come out! Im only 1cm dilated, cervix is soft and thinniny! Ive been active and having sex with the hubby! What did you ladies do to try to speed things up? Anyone have luck with Evening Prime Rose Oil and if so how long after using? I really do not want to be induced, but doctor knows best.
