How far apart in age is to far?!

My son just turned 5 in November and we have been trying to get pg with baby #2 for 3 years now unsuccessfully :( it took 1 year with our son. I fear we are getting to far apart in age if we got pg now he'd be 6 by the time his baby brother or sister was born. My hubby is very discouraged and keeps bringing this up but doesn't quite want to give up yet. My sister and I are 8 years apart but we are closer than ever! We aren't getting any younger either we are both 31. What do y'all think?!!

Had my first 15 years ago and just had my second at 33. It's almost like being a first time Mom again! Everything has changed and there are a million new gadgets! I started buying the big things the min we started trying and then as soon as we found out it was a girl I finished. Everything about my pregnancy, delivery, and Baby is different. It has been a rough year. Being old sucks! Worth every second of misery though. My Baby (15yr old) is the best big sissy ever! She helps so much and loves her baby sister more then I ever imagined. So glad we decided to have another! I'm definitely done this time!

Keep trying if it's what you really want! I have a brother and a sister. 13 years apart from my brother and 11 years apart from my sister. My mom had me when she was 37. And the only reason I'm not as close with my siblings as I'd like to be is because my mom and I moved almost 1000 miles away from them when I was 10. But now my sister lives about 5 minutes away from us and we're closer than ever!

I'm going to say no gap is too big. I'm 10 months older than my brother. 11 years older than our sister. 24 years older than our newest half sister. We all get on really well with each other. I'm close to my brother because we grew up together. Close with my sister because she's my sister. And I adore our newest sister (she's 2 now, I'm 26) because she's flipping adorable.

Im TTC another and our son will be six in April. Yes, it's a gap but there are plenty of positives. You'll have a helper. You won't have two in diapers. One will be in school so you can focus on the younger one during that time. There are no rules! Don't worry, mama! It's super common! ❤️

I have a 7 year old sister and we have a 13 year age gap. I have 2 year old twin sisters and we have a 18 year age gap. We love each other and we fight like any other siblings would even though I no longer live with them. And i have a 3 month old son which they love to pieces. It's no longer about me. When they see me they run up to see their nephew which i find kind of funny.

My husband has 3 kids from his first marriage. All girls ages 10,8, and 5 (almost 6) when my baby is born the oldest will be a month shy of 11. It's not a huge deal
