really need help, please comment.

at my 12 week today my doctor told me after the ultrasound that the baby's nuchal fold was 3.3 when it's supposed to be less then 2.5, is this normal? i just want some reassurance that my baby may come out perfectly healthy and fine cause these woman have me scared up my wits. has anybody else's baby had something similar? they tell me she/he will probably have a heart defect or down syndrome but that there is no telling yet. did this happen to anybody else?
