Who has had successful VBAC after 2 or more c-sections?

The OB/GYN that removed my IUD earlier this year said that I could have a VBAC after having had 2 c sections. Well, we moved over the summer and her office is too far now (an hour away)so I decided to try another OB who has really good reviews and is only 5 minutes from my house. I had an appt with the nurse at this office today and she said my section would be scheduled for 39 weeks. I told her that I didn't want a section and planned for a VBAC. She told me that no MD in the office would do that for me because the risk of uterine rupture is too high. So we went back and forth for a while before I just said okay. When I got in the car I made an appt with the MD I saw earlier this year who said it was possible.
