pcos problems

I'm really freaking myself out , I was diagnosed with pcos a year ago and was put on birth control for a year I just stopped the birth control a month and a half ago. I had a short spotting on Nov. 15 only lasted 2 or 3 days, and I just started bleeding again yesterday, and about four days ago I had extreme pain on my left side, and it still hurts I'm not sure what's going on
