Flu Shot during Pregnancy??

Hi ladies, I'm 31 weeks pregnant and my doctor had been Bugging me nonstop about the flu shot. I finally told her I decline and she has to respect my wish. Idk I've heard some awful things about it anyway (pregnant or not) and last time I got it I went into labor a month earlier with my daughter and heard of similar stories like that with the flu shot during pregnancy even miscarriages m. But not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Anyway, I'm already getting the cold. But I much rather have that than putting something we really don't know what our government put in that stuff. (Been doing a lot of research) I won't get into details. BUT, did any of you pregnant ladies get it during your pregnancy?

If you get the flu it could kill your unborn baby. Once your baby is here, getting the flu can be fatal to an infant. There are no studies that show complications of getting the flu shot while pregnant. It's really a no-brainer.

I got mine a couple days ago, all I got was a sore arm for a day. Reason why I got it is because it's the holidays and with shopping there are nasty ass people who cough and spit all over carts and stuff. No joke I got pink eye from a shopping cart once. If you don't get the flu shot keep hand sanitizer with you, it helps.

Yes, I got it. I don't usually but getting the flu while pregnant is much worse for you and the baby. Also your baby gets antibodies from you, meaning your baby will be protected from the flu after its born as well. My doctor offered a preservative free version. I think it was the best choice for the future health of my baby.

I don't get any vaccines while pregnant. I don't feel comfortable pumping that stuff into my unborn child

I got it. I usually don't, but felt it was important I get it and stay as healthy as I can during pregnancy.

I got it.  It's much worse to get the flu when pregnant, and that can be a big risk to the baby.  I got the shot with no preservatives, and everything has been fine.

Got my flu shot and whooping caugh shot the same day while 32 weeks pregnant. Had no side effects or pain whatsoever and my baby is perfectly healthy and due any day. I don't understand why people refuse. It literally helps build your baby's immunity to sickness when they come into the world.

My Dr. asked me one time and I said "no thank you, please make a note in my chart I'm not interested" ... And wa-la they haven't asked since then. You should never feel obligated to do something you are not comfortable doing.

I had it around week 26 along with the whooping cough jab as in the UK we get offered both for free. Some friends got both or one of the jabs, others had neither. I was assured that side effects were very rare and as a high risk pregnancy I wouldn't have had them if I hadn't done my own research and had any doubts. Hubby and I had a really nasty flu two Xmas's ago that lasted 10 days and knocked us out, I also travel on the London Underground which is a breeding ground for germs so this is why I had it. At the end of the day it's your choice and don't let anyway sway you into a decision you're not comfortable with

I ended up getting it after our dr. Kept asking me to do it. I finally gave in. Did I feel comfortable doing it? No, I never had it with the other 3 pregnancies. So far though I haven't gotten it and if I've been sick it's been only a cold and goes away within 3-4days thank God. I was flue sick and congested my whole 1st trimester! I haven't had a miss carriage thank God or any weird symptoms. My baby's IPS come out normal. So far so good.
