Who would use a doula?

I am considering becoming a certified doula and was wondering who all would use one when you get pregnant!

I think  its a great idea. My best friend for her  2 pregnancies  used one.  My obgyn is also a certified  doula and my acupuncturist  is one too.  I personally  would prefer  NO drugs. NOT for the I am woman  hear me roar mentality.  But more for the,  let me get up and pee and shower before  I'm  bombarded with  a million visitors.  Plus  doesnt help that i get bad reactions  to drugs.

My fiancé has physical limitations which means he won't be able to support me with massage n stuff so I'm already looking to book one.
