How long did the 4 month sleep regression last for your baby?

The worst was over in a couple weeks, I think. It took a good month or so before she was fully settled into a routine again, but it got much more bearable.

I've never sleep trained her. She was a good sleeper before the regression, so I just stuck with what we had been doing and waited it out. And now she's a really good sleeper again. I think panicking and trying a bunch of new stuff while baby's going through this big mental leap may only make it worse, you know? That's why most sources I've read say sleep training is usually pretty pointless before 6 months or so. Baby just has to adjust to their new sleep patterns. You can't force it, it just takes time. Hang in there, mama!

18 months?  Seriously though, I gestate bad sleepers.  The good news is sleep is so consistently erratic, I don't even notice sleep regressions.

For us, it was about a week and a half and then last night she slept through the night again. Can I hope it's over? Please? God please let it be over...

We were able to manage it in a way that it never actually affected us. Never had to even go in his room when he started waking. Put himself right back to sleep. It's can definitely be avoided if handled in a certain way.
