Would you kill someone to keep your child alive ?

Let's say it's like some SAW movie type scenerio, where you were given the choice to kill a person, (and let's go ahead and say a person who is in no way related to you by blood or friendship or acquaintanceship, a complete stranger, but it would be a painful death) or have your child be killed (and let's say killed in a way that they would feel no pain, no fear, no nothing at all) . 
Would you murder them and allow your child to live, or allow the person to live?

If you don't have kids and chose to kill your kid, I'm pretty sure you have no idea how strong the feeling youll have for your own children.

That's my child, my flesh and blood in no way would I choose for them to die, however I would be very emotional making that choice because that stranger to me is also someone's child but I'd obviously have to pick my child
