Pain during sex

I just wanna make sure I'm right on this. Okay I've seen posts about sex hurting when you ovulate. I never had this problem till tonight when I was having sex with my bf like it was going good then he got too excited and it hurt so bad like I've never felt before ever, kinda took my breath away. He felt so bad but I said it's okay it was an accident I know he didn't mean to hurt me which is a big deal bc I've been raped a few times and it hurt. Anyway I thought my cervix was high bc I could barely reach it was it not as high? I honestly thought I was going to start bleeding bc it hurt that bad but I'm not. I had told him to go easy but he got too excited bc he thought I was cumming and I was but idk what happened if he went too deep or what. Was it my cervix?
