I'm 14.. flying from Indiana to California to go live with my dad. It will be my first time flying, I'm pretty terrified.. does anybody have any tips to help with my fear?

Have gym, a hoodie, and have a portable charger and some type of entertainment. Traveling can be tiring, but I love it. When you get through security, stock up on some snacks so you don't have to eat crappy food and buy yourself some magazines.

Keep chewing gum on you, it helps divert some of your anxious energy plus helps your ears adjust to the altitude.  Then noise cancelling head phones, blocks out all the noises and keeps you in your own world of music or a movie.

It's not bad at all. Sometimes landing would make me queasy if I could see the ground so you might close the blinds thing when landing. Taking off feels a little like a roller coaster slowly rising up a hill. It's fun for me. Music and TV shows and movies and books can help distract you from what's going on around you. But once you're up in the clouds I would recommend looking around. It's gorgeous up there.
