Pregnant Right After Miscarriage??

I took a pregnancy test the last week of October and it was a very faint positive.. I started bleeding November 3rd, and went to the hospital on November 4th, and the doctors there told me that my hcg level was a 6, so they counted it as "not pregnant", not necessarily even saying I had a miscarriage. It is now December 3rd, i've been having pregnancy symptoms for almost a week now and i just took a pregnancy test with a pretty dark line. Is this actually a real positive???
