zoloft and pregnancy?

My doctor put me on Zoloft while I was TTC because she said it's safe to use during pregnancy. Now I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant and PARANOID because I've read some scary things online! Anyone else have experience with this or was told it wa OK by their Dr.? Anyone else feel guilty and worried for taking it?

Zoloft is the safest antidepressant during pregnancy. I've been on it for all of my pregnancies and no issues related to the medication. Don't believe everything you read online.

If ur ob put u on it, it's cause u need it and cause it's ok. No ob would prescribe something if it will hurt ur baby. Trust ur doctor

I just stop using it cause i dont need it anymore but i used it with my first and second and they were both healthy girls no complications at all...I just now start hearing it can give your baby clef lip but my doctor said it hasnt been proven so i dont know but i had no bad experience with it!!!

I took it still do. During pregnancy I went from 50mg to 100. Now on 150. I didn't start it till 10w6d because that's when my ob feels it's the safest.

I take zoloft too but after dissonant I was pregnant my obgyn discontinued it. It causes birth defects to unborn children. I strongly recommend stopping it until you have your baby. My cousin's son was born with a heart condition because of zoloft.
