Hi, I've just given birth and am a breastfeeding mommie. I want to breast feed in public. What are the rules. Am I allowed to breast feed without a cover. Or do I need a cover. If inlatch on my baby and my nipple shoes for a second csn ingo to jail or be introuble.

Sweetie by federal law you are protected. There are no rules. You cannot go to jail.

Nurse with a cover or without. Do what is comfortable for you and baby. My first two kids hated a cover. My third loves his blanket. I have huge breasts and I do not show anyone anything and no one has ever said a word to me about nursing in public.

I wear two shirts. One goes up and one goes down and no one see me anything. This is just what works for me. There should not be so much stress and fear surrounding the act of feeding your baby. Just remember that you are protected. Nurse with confidence

Out shopping 😂 she was hungry so she got fed. Can you see anything? Nope. I wear 2 tops, one goes up one comes down and baby latches on, there is nothing to see. There's no need to display a whole boob. I won't use a cover as there's no need 😄

I just walked around the grocery store feeding. Just wear a cami under whatever shirt you wear! ☺️ a cover is too much of a hassle in my opinion.

Breastfeed without fear, honey. There are actual laws that you can look up that protect your right to breastfeed in any place that is open to the public. You can use a cover if you want. I do on occasion. But there is no requirement. Do your thing.

You are protected by law in the US as a breastfeeding mother. Anywhere you are legally allowed to be you have the right to breastfeed. They can't legally harass you or ask you to leave. And you can't face legal repercussions. Doesn't matter what is seen. If you are covered or not. You are protected.

I never use a cover. And I nurse everywhere. I do the 2 shirt method to keep my belly covered. That's what makes me self conscious.

That's actually a great question. I'm so scared of feeding in public because of my nipple. It's freaking huge. 
What if someone accuses me as a pervert and reports me. 
"It only counts if u saw a nipple"
