Asprin in early pregnancy?

Hi

I am 5 weeks pregnant. I had a late miscarriage in July, at 16 weeks. No signs of bleeding etc, just no heartbeat.

The post mortem came back showing no obvious reasons for her death. I had blood clotting tests which showed a weak positive result for lupus. The consultant said I should take 75mg of asprin in my next pregnancy from as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test. I've read that it's only safe from 12 weeks.

Has anyone else taken asprin from the beginning or is anyone currently taking it?
