Talking with mom

I would like to start huh having sex but I want to be on birth control. My mom and I barley talk at all, and I don't know if or how I should ask her about it. My boyfriend's mom got him condoms as a joke and one of my friends gets condoms for people so that side is protected, but what about me? I'm one of those girl that if I don't have both I won't have sex at all.

My boyfriend and I are both still a virgins and 14. My boyfriend has told me that he thinks of me as "the one" and I think of him as that too.

Any mothers how would you want to be asked about birth control?
