weight gain not gaining?

Question

So my pre pregnancy weight was 150 during my first trimester even though I didn't get morning sickness I lost eight pounds. Then at 12 weeks I found that I was back to my normal weight at 151 but yesterday I was back down to 148lbs!!!

I eat regularly my doctor doesn't seem concerned but the WIC office is giving me a hard time.... Anyone else not really gaining?

I didn't gain a pound until almost 30 weeks.

I'm at almost 19 weeks and still weigh 2 pounds less than when I conceived! 
Doctor doesn't seem too worried and I'm not going to fight it. Baby girl is a little wiggle worm who seems to be at her water aerobics classes every day swimming and jumping around 🤗🤗
As Monday the 19th we have our anatomy scan so then if she measures small, then I'll be worried. Until then I keep eating those salads she loves and all the soup. (With the occasional milkshake!)

Youll be fine if doc isnt worried. I jist had my baby at 39wk5d. At 148 pre preg i was 140.

My best friend lost weight and had a healthy baby girl. I remember reading somewhere growing a baby takes as much energy as climbing everst. I love WIC and everything they do but they deal with a wide range of people including woman who don't take care of themselves so the get concerned when they see a sign of anything. You are fine momma, as long as doc says so.

This made me feel much better. Started at 130. Now 16 weeks at 123. I just started stabilizing my weight. I eat all day. All day. Still no gain but being patient.

I have a similar issue. My pre pregnancy weight was 160, and since then the max I gained was to 164. Origionally, i knew it was due to my bad nausea and vomiting for first 6.5 months. But then at 31 weeks I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes ( without any risk factors). I'm on a meal plan eating 6 meals a day and way more carbs than I normally ever eat and went into my OB yesterday at 33 weeks and I'm 156.5 lbs. It's frustrating but baby is growing so he's not overly concerned.

Thank you for posting, hearing your story and reading the comments makes me feel better. I am 26 weeks and 183, pre pregnancy was 185. My doctor made me feel bad saying my baby girl won't have any reserves on her, even after asking if it mattered that I was overweight to begin with. But knowing there are plenty of women who give birth to healthy babies with little weight gain is relieving.
