extremely long periods.

I have pcos and even tho my periods are regular every 27 days I have extremely long periods. They last anywhere from 10-12 days. My doctor has me on 5 mg of clomid. This is cycle 2 on femara. I always ovulate late bc of the long periods and have a very short luteal phase. My doctor hasn't really shown any concern on this and I believe that is why we are not conceiving. I took vitex to make my cycle length shorter but I'm still dealing with these long periods. Anyone have any idea of what I could do or try. Thank you.
