threatened miscarriage?

Anyone else have a threatened miscarriage? How did it go? I spotted today but I wasn't really cramping and I'm only 4 weeks and I spotted a little after sex and I went to the ER and that's what they called it? But the doctor said the cause for the spotting was from sex, but why'd they call it a threatened miscarriage if it was from sex? ( first pregnancy) and I see my OB tomorrow. I'm so scared I'll miscarry. I'm on pelvic rest Til time being. What are some tips? Helpful things?

I had a threatened miscarriage too, it started out light like that and I called my doctor. She said light pink is nothing to worry about, especially not after sex, that's normal. She told me to relax and try not to have sex for a few days. I wouldn't be too worried if I were you. In my case, it got worse and turned bright red and I went to the ER convinced I was miscarrying. Two weeks and a couple blood tests later we are fine. Every woman is different, but I think you'll be fine.

That makes no sense. I had a threatened miscarriage that turned into a miscarriage in July. I strayed off spotting brown blood then after 2 days turned into deep red blood with clots. The bleeding was accompanied by a dull back pain as well. If your spotting from sex, i hear that is normal. Don't panic. Wait to see what doc says tomorrow. They should rest your HCG levels as well. I think it's just because your bleeding. I had a threated miscarriage a couple weeks ago because I was bleeding but they said they found a hemorrhage so that's probably what was causing it. But they put me on bed rest for a week and I've been fine since. The bleeding stopped that day. And everything was fine with the baby, my blood came back normal. I did a follow up the next week(last week) and they didn't take blood or do another ultrasound I'd think if they thought it was that bad they'd do more about it. But again I haven't been bleeding since and they just said they'll see me next month for my pap. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. So I wouldn't worry. And spotting after sex is normal.

I had a "threatened miscarriage" and now my daughter will be 1 on the 23rd of this month. I think you're okay. As long as it was like very faint/pinkish. And not bright red bleeding with clotting. My doctor actually thought It was very stupid of them to call it that lol. He actually said it's normal to spot in the beginning.
