Teen Moms

Megan
I'm just putting this out there for teenaged parents: please, please educate yourself. I'm not suggesting that you'll be a bad mother/father because you're young, nor am I trying to convince you that you're making a horrible mistake. However, becoming a parent does not automatically make you an adult (legally). If you are unable to provide financially for your child, and you're lucky enough to have someone in your life who is willing to help you, be grateful! Familiarize yourself with family law, and if you're living at home with your parents, you should also know what premises liability is. There are a lot of things that you will not be able to do for your child if you are under the age of 18, accept the help that is offered to you and be respectful of the people trying to care for you. ESPECIALLY, if you're living in their house.
