When did you announce to immediate family?

After over a year of trying we are finally pregnant! At Christmas I will be 7 weeks and we really want to tell our immediate families then because we LOVE christmas.. however our first ultrasound isn't until 2 days later. Is this too early to spill the beans. I know they usually say wait until after at least 10 weeks...

I told my immediate family the day we found out! I was 6w5d for my first ultrasound which wasn't till weeks after telling them! So I was literally super early! I say tell whenever you are ready!

My parents knew right away.... Probably around 6 weeks.. Everyone else we told at 16 weeks

I had to tell my mother kids at 6 weeks because I was so sick they were worried about me in the bathroom puking all the time. Of course once you tell the kids you have to tell everyone else pretty quick or your kids will spill the beans. So our family all new at 6 weeks. We had a miscarriage 3 years before so they new to keep their excitement limited until we were further along. I am now 26+5 and doing great
