Did the glucose test make you sick??

Question

I did my glucose test yesterday and despite feeling fine when I went in it was not long after that nasty drink.... Dizziness, nausea, overall sick feeling.... ALL DAY. Even after resting and eating normal food. This is my 6th. Never had that reaction before!!! Anybody else??

It's pure glucose, so that reaction is perfectly normal!

I got dizzy but mostly just tired. I could barely drive home. When I got home, I took a three hour nap...

I was very dizzy and nauseous, afterward I ate something and slept all day. Felt better the day after

Doctor called.... I totally failed all 3.... From the fasting to the final blood draw. Dang it. Nurse said I am likely sick because my body isn't able to process all the sugar.

Now I get to take a 3 hour class, test my blood sugar constantly at home, twice a week doctor visits (which will include ultrasounds and stress tests) and cut out a bunch of food I love! So much fun!

I guess when they say every pregnancy is different they mean it! I guess I get to experience each and every complication for each one!

I'm sitting in the clinic now, nauseous and a little dizzy. Mine is a 2 hour test, I have about 1 hour and 15 minutes to go. I'm hoping when I leave and get something to eat, I'll feel better.

I felt wonky for a while, but it stopped after a few hours- once I was able to eat some real food.

I just took a 3 hour test and felt sick the nurse told me it's because I went so long without food and drink

I vomited and fainted several times with this test also

I had 2 done. The first one I was sick before it and sick after. The second one went alot better.

In my previous pregnancies, I didn't get sick, though.
