alright so I'm engaged

So I'm engaged, I'm only 16 but I love him unconditionally he's been the best thing in my life. I'm having slot of problems at home currently and he always makes it better neither of our parents know he will be 18 in may while I will be 17 in February I just want to know, why doesn't he like talking about it? We've been engaged since July second of this year 💍 but I'm just nervous he could be having second thoughts...he says he doesn't but in still nervous about it because I'm so in love with him and I don't want anyone else but him. He asked me all on his own we hardly talked about it before hand he went to PA and got me a ring while he was on vacation with his parents then asked me about a month later had anyone else been scared about your significant other having second thought??
