My man can't compliment me. 😭

My boyfriend just can't seem to say anything nice or complimentary to me. He would a little when we first stared talking but it's completely stopped now. I've been mentioning it to him, and he's apologized about it, but it hasn't been any different yet. Is that weird, that he can't say nice things to me? It makes me feel so insecure and like he's losing interest in me. It breaks my heart to think that he doesn't think I'm beautiful or wonderful to him.
