tampons ⚠️ (kinda TMI)

So long story but I somehow managed to have a tampon in for like 3 weeks...? Just found it yesterday while removing a different one, and I know it had to have been from my previous period that some how got a little lost up there... About two weeks ago I got really sick (fever, vomiting, bacterial infection) and the doctor couldn't diagnose me with anything but gave me very strong antibiotics and I recovered perfectly fine.  It just occurred to me but is it possible I had minor TSS that was taken care of by the antibiotics? 😳 I've read that TSS isn't diagnosable by tests or anything, just symptoms
