sharp pains in cervix- clomid?

So I am on my 1st cycle of clomid and I ovulated right on time... tons of cramping and discomfort which I expected. What I didn't expect however was severe stabbing pains in my cervix the day my ovulation was "over". Has this happened to anyone else? I read it can be a great sign of egg and sperm meeting or it can be a bad sign that you have women's health issues in other ways. I am so anxious to know if we did the deed and made a baby or two.... 👶🏻👶🏻😁😁😁
