Do you use ovulation kits?

We are entering our 2nd month TTC, and I am about to head into the TWW. While I hope this is the month, I'm trying to get some feed back on using ovulation kits. I have not yet but wonder if I should if this month doesn't end with the desired result. Currently monitoring naturally but wonder if a kit would help pinpoint better?

We got pregnant the first month I used an ovulation test. We also used the SMEP as well that month.

I have been using them for about 3 months now and we've been actively TTC for 2.  They definitely help me to pinpoint my surge.  The glow app was way off on when I should be ovulating and I don't get the true egg white cm.  Mine is watery and not too stretchy.  Also, since I've been taking the tests and am better able to pinpoint things it has helped me to pay better attention to my body.  For example, I've noticed that I get some cramps about 5 days before ovulation.  We are currently in the tww so hoping to get some good news.  But, overall, I think they're super useful! I use the Easy @ Home ones from Amazon bc they're cheap and easy to use and you won't feel guilty about using a lot.

I hate those tests. They put a lot of stress on my  husband and I while TTC#1. I tested pretty much for 8 cycles, the appropriate amount of time during each cycle. They kept telling me I didn't ovulate. So I stopped using them. Then cycle 12 I decided to use opks again and they still told me I didn't have a surge. Wellllll that was incredibly wrong because I'm currently feeding lunch to my toddler.... the baby that was conceived when I didn't have a surge. So I think I'm just the unlucky few that don't do well with OPKs.

If it wasn't for OPKs I wouldn't have realized I ovulate a little later than expected.
