If your period is late, then take a test. There's little point in taking one before as your hormone levels will be too low to be picked up by the test. If you period comes on time, that's your test. You're not pregnant.

I wouldn't depend on your period to tell you yes or no because with the possibility of implantation bleeding it could be confusing. Use a first response the day your period is due, bleeding or not. Then you will know for sure😉
