Stay at home mom instead of going back to work

My husband and I have been discussing what to do as far as me going back to work or staying home with our lil guy. My job doesn't pay as well as his, but we get our insurance through my work. Also, by the time we would pay for a babysitter, my check would be nothing. I'm just wondering if there are any other families that have encountered this situation and if so what did you do?
