pimple cream???

Is it really bad to use any pimple creams during pregnancy? I break out so badly, and have been using mine all along

There are lots of scare mongering posts about not using anything with salicylic acid or some of the other common active ingredients in common topical acne medications...
They're not based on any actual scientific data. Just some half-baked ideas about what skin exposure for mom can possibly also make it through the placenta. 
The only acne medication that is off limits is accurate (a pill).
Any cream you're using should be fine. You can always run that stuff by your provider too, for peace of mind.

I didn't even know it was a thing. I haven't been using mine much because I figure most of my skin problems right now is due to hormones so using a cream won't help much anyway so I've just been drinking more water and trying to keep my skin healthy from the inside out.

I've been using benzoyl peroxide acne cream my entire pregnancy, and baby girl is perfect. 27 weeks.

I went to a dermatologist while TTC, and there are some creams that have been linked to infertility and birth defects. That being said, all the over the counter creams and washes do not contain the harmful ingredients. The ones that contain them are the hard core prescription creams and acne pills.
