Long Distance Relationship

I'm from the Dominican Republic and my boyfriend is from Canada, we haven't met in person yet and it drives us both crazy, he can't come to my home because my parents are really against the way we met (dating app) I know who he is and also his family and friends but my family doesn't accept it they don't even want to meet him (via FaceTime) we talk, text and FaceTime everyday. I truly love him, for me is way harder to go to Canada. What can I do?? I'm really frustrated and sad because of this.
