Delivery & testing

Has anyone had a csection & once baby was born taken to the nursey for routine tests and observation? The hospital I go to does this, I get maybe 15 min to see my son and then hes taken for tests and to make sure his breathing ect. Is okay. Some advice?! I don't want him to go but the best they can do is just make sure hes back in my arms as soon as possible (if he's a healthy baby, no medical issues)
