Visiting when baby is born...sorry, long post
I've been thinking about this lately and I'm just having mixed feelings about this. But it's something I really need to figure out because during my last doctors appointment, my bp was a bit high and I had to get tested for preeclampsia (will find out next week)...so there's a possibility of being induced before due date.
I don't know whether I want people visiting at the hospital when the baby is born. I'm due mid January and it's flu season, which completely freaks me out. I don't want anybody who is or was recently sick carrying or being around the baby, also, I don't want ANYONE kissing the baby, but I don't want to have to watch everyone and everything that they do, I don't want to deal with it. (Meaning: questioning everyone that goes if they're sick and telling them all not to kiss him) I would think people have common sense, but we all know that's not the case with everyone. And sooo many people have asked me to let them know as soon as the baby is born. I don't want to be rude or overprotective, but my son's wellbeing is the only thing that matters to me. I just don't know what to do..😔
