Double period?

So....for the past 3 months..ive been getting what seems to be a double period. I get my reg period right on sched...lasts about 4 to 5 days..stops. 2 days later..i bleed again. Ive gone to the gyno got super checked and according to her everythings dandy. Not quite sure whats going on.....anyone been through this before?
