When did you tell your parents?

I am just in shock that the line is there!  Tested again today and got another positive test.  Woo hoo!  Now I need to figure out when to tell my parents and inlaws.  The timing is so perfect with it being Christmas next week but is that too soon?

We just got our BFP as well, but with it being Christmas we didn't think we could keep it a secret. We told both sets of parents and swore them to secrecy.

We're telling our parents on Christmas but then keeping it to ourselves until the end of January. It does feel soon, but it's such a great chance to have that surprise. We wrapped ornaments for them to open.

I just love it! Is anyone else like omg is this real? I was sick for a couple days but was good yesterday. Makes it all hard to believe. Does anyone else have a huge fear their going to go pee (again!) and find out they miscarried? I've never felt a fear like this!

I'm in the same boat. I found out only yesterday so Christmas has passed but New Years is coming up and it would be perfect to break the news. I'm still debating on whether to tell the rest of the family or just parents and in laws since it's so soon. I'm only 3 weeks along.

I am also debating this question.. but I am going to share it with the parents and siblings on both side. We are a very close family. I am going to ask them not to tell anyone else and I feel I can trust them. This is my first and it seems miscarriages happen to women in my family on the first baby... and today I have the terrible fear in my head. But if you want to have your family to talk to if by chance you do miscarry like I do then Christmas is a great time to share.

We are telling close family at Christmas! I've looked on Pinterest and there's a ton of cute ways to announce. I've had a miscarriage before we told anyone, and I would have actually preferred close friends and family know what I was going through. For the rest of the world, if everything works out we will do a Valentines Day announcement!
