Bloody Show!!

All last night I was waking up every 1-2 hours because of sharp pains.. I thought maybe it was due to gas. So I tried to use the restroom each time. I did go once but other times I just sat there in pain. Then tried to go back to sleep. I use the restroom in the dark when I'm tired so I didn't even look to see what was going on. This morning I noticed small tints of blood in my discharge when I wipe. I'm currently 38weeks and 4 days pregnant. And I'm getting cramp like feelings and still have bloody show. No obvious signs of a mucus plug though. Do you think I'm in early labor? Or is this normal? I don't know I'm obviously a FTM.
