spotting 6 weeks

I am currently 6 weeks pregnant. My husband and I had sex for the first time last night since finding out we were pregnant. This afternoon I had some really spotting within an hour it changed to brown and then stopped. Is this normal? Ob ordered blood work and I'd numbers are high enough will get me in for sonogram this week. So nervous we have been tryying for 5 years
