baby Vicks vapor rub on bottom of babies feet?

I heard rubbing baby Vicks on the bottom of your babies feet and putting socks on while they sleep can help with a stuffy nose and cough... I went to the store today to buy some and couldn't find any! I even went to two stores with no luck ! So I bought Zarbees naturals baby soothing chest rub with eucalyptus, lavender, and beeswax. My question is will it work the same as the baby Vicks ? And where else should I apply it? I went to the pediatrician today and the doctor said that as long as she's not running fever, eating less and making less wet diapers to continue suctioning her nose and using a humidifier. He told me that this stuff is safe to use... my baby is a month and a half.... TIA.
