How long did it take for u to conceive prior and post birth control?

Out of curiosity to the mothers how long did it take to get pregnant ur 1st time? It took me 2 yrs to get pregnant with my now 5 yr old son. After that I tried the the IUD which I had a bad experience with then the shot that made me gain weight 😩. So now it's been 2yrs since I've been on any BC methods whatsoever. We're trying for a 2nd child and hopin I get good news in the wks to come.
