boyfriend called me fat?

Okay am I being sensitive or would you be upset? First of all - I'm "all belly" right now and not fat at all.... but my boyfriend just used the term "suuuuuuuuuper fat looking" to describe my body ..... I don't want to overreact but I feel like that's extremely rude and I don't even want to see him again.

We've been seeing each other like six months but I've been on the fence about staying with him since I'm having the baby next month and kind of just want to focus on me.

It seems to me he's just going to add more hurt and drama than I need in my life. Any pep talks welcome.

I'd leave. My boyfriend has never called me fat. I've called myself fat God knows how many times in front of him and never has he agreed. He always says no you're not, you're pregnant, etc. He has never even called me fat during a heated argument.

HUGE red flag right there! It will just get worse trust me. I dated a guy who commented on my weight constantly- I wasn't even pregnant and weighed 130lbs at 5'4 so I was not fat in any way but it made my self esteem plummet like no other. I would not stay with him if I were you.  Imagine the things he will say after you give birth..smh.

I would say if there are other reasons that you want to leave then of course do what is best for you and your babe. But just from that comment, I wouldn't say that's enough to​ to leave. Just make sure he knows that better not come out of his mouth again.

I think it might be a bit of an over-reaction. When we're pregnant our hormones can make little things upset us, as though it's a big deal. I wouldn't break up with him just because of that, sometimes guys are just dumb and say stupid things not realizing it would hurt our feelings. However if he's been verbally or physically abusive to you, then that's another story.

Take your time and think it over before you make a permanent decision based on temporary emotions. ❤ Hope this helps.

Yeah I think you're being a little dramatic. Most guys really just don't know what to say, or how to say it correctly, they just don't. Least you could do is just talk to him and tell him how it made you feel instead of assuming that he meant it in a rude way. Personally I don't see it as a big deal, if you know you're all belly and not fat at all then don't let it get to you. lol I think it's funny, I would've laughed and said Ho Ho Ho lol but that's just me 😂

Ew, how old is he. 😑 I'd leave, 6 months is not a long relationship so I'd get out of it. And yes, focus on you and the baby. That's what matters ❤️
