How do you feel about GoFundMe fundraisers for things like bill money, Christmas presents, money for people's infertility treatments, etc?

How do you feel about them? I see them frequently for things like I described above and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I love GoFundMe for things like medical bills (although I wish healthcare costs in the US didn't force people to beg for money so they don't die) or funeral costs because I feel like that's it's intended purpose, but I'm iffy on other things. It's situational for me.
