gf? to be or not to be?

NO RUDE COMMENTS!!!                                                    I randomly asked my husband if I could have a girlfriend, just to see what he would say and he said YES! Idk of that is a good thing or bad?. I use to fool around with one girl while we was in higschool. Like she was my gf. Which is he knows this and we didn't even know each other back then. Like I'm just trying to understand if this is okay or not? Obviously to me I feel like it's cheating but to him it's totally cool.
