Is this ok? Please give me advice.

So I'll be 18 at the very beginning of April, but there is this guy I know that is 22. He likes me. He wants to date me. We have the same interests; he's going to college around where I live. Soon he's going to medical school. I'm going to nursing school once I graduate. We get along well and enjoy each other's company. He's very smart and has offered to help me with school in any way he can to make sure I'm successful in achieving my dream. He even wants to meet my family just so they know there aren't any kind of bad intentions. Is this ok, or do you think it's bad? I'm positive that he's not trying to use me or anything. He's very nice and caring.
